Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 June 2026

Tyres HQ (“we”, “us”) runs tyreshq.co.uk. We keep data collection to the minimum a website like ours needs, and we never sell your information. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address and message you send. We use these only to read and reply to your message.

When you browse. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data through analytics and server logs, for example pages viewed, rough location (country/region), device and browser type, and the page that referred you. This is used to understand what is useful and to keep the site working and secure. Where required, this is done with your consent through our cookie notice.

Cookies. We use a small number of cookies for essential site function and for anonymous analytics. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings; essential ones are needed for the site to work.

Why we are allowed to use it

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we rely on: your consent for non-essential analytics cookies; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the site; and taking steps at your request when you contact us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our website host and analytics provider. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and a reasonable period after. Analytics data is kept in line with our provider’s standard retention settings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Links to other sites

Our guides link to third-party sites, including Tyres.co.uk and official sources such as GOV.UK. Their privacy practices are their own and are not covered by this policy.

Children

The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page, with the date above, is always the current one.
