Why we're here
Too many drivers overpay for the wrong tyres, or drive on unsafe ones, simply because tyre information is confusing or hard to trust. We started Tyres HQ to put that right.

Tyres run in the family
Daniel Hartley grew up in his father's independent tyre garage, sweeping the workshop floor before he could drive, and reading tyre sidewalls long before he sat his test. Tyres were never abstract to him; they were what kept the family's customers safe on the road.
He kept getting asked the same question by friends and family: “what tyres should I actually buy?” There was never one clear, trustworthy place to point them. So he built Tyres HQ and brought together a team of tyre experts, from fitters and a garage owner to an MOT tester and motoring writers, to make sure every answer is one you can rely on.
